Voice Acting
SURPRISE! Tess started out recording scratch voices for animatics. After a while, it stuck! She has now voiced animated characters for two feature films and three TV series as well as a leading roles in an award winning VR short film, ‘Remember’, and Flying Bark’s celebrated short, ‘My Jumper It Roars’.
Her characters have spanned competitive tween-agers, tenacious teachers, nervous heroes, precocious little kids, entitled cousins, pained mothers, barbershop singers and narrators. Her voice has been described as “ageless”, “energetic” and “authentic” by directors and producers alike. She sings at an above average level and, according to all the sound engineers she’s worked with, laughs with rare authenticity. Ha!
